Wait... It's not Saturday?!

First, I just want to say, I woke up believing it was Saturday!  So, I'm not at work! 
Thankfully I have plenty of PTO!

I've been missing for a bit.  Well, at least from my writing.
My energy has been so focused on getting myself back to where I once was'
as far as my work is concerned.  So much restructuring and changes have happened
and for the first time since 2009, I'm worried.
Due to our current "administration" any grants focused on HIV will no longer be funded.
That means for people in my office our jobs are in jeopardy.
I haven't let this affect the quality of care I give to each and individual person.
If anything, it's helped me stay focused because if I don't get to service my clients anymore
then I want each last interaction with them to be impactful.

Not to worry!  There is a silver lining.  We are continuously searching and researching
any other funding opportunities available in our area.  Our focus on services we offer may
shift, however, the heart behind the work will always remain.

A lot of changes for me will be coming.
I will be going back to school soon!
I'm getting braces soon!
That's a whole other story.  Don't worry, I'll talk about that and why I'm finally choosing
to get braces after all this time.
